The national team for the one-day series against the West Indies will be announced tomorrow.

According to sources, the National Selection Committee completed its consultation. Chief selector Muhammad Waseem must hold final consultation with the captain and coach.

Sources said it was proposed to give rest to senior players but no final decision could be made. Some senior players are not in favor of rest.

The national team captain, Babar Azam, is also not in favor of giving rest to more players.

Sources said that the name of wicketkeeper-batsman Muhammad Haris, fast bowler Zaman Khan is also being considered while the return of Muhammad Nawaz is also possible.

The EDI series between Pakistan and the West Indies is scheduled for 8, 10 and 12 June.
